Funding Impact Study in Chitral
Chitral Development Council is planning to conduct research on aid effectiveness and its impact in the Chitral. For the purpose we shall cooperate with Chitral District Government and with due facilitation of Chitral District Government we will present a funding impact study report. The core purpose of the research is;
- To deepen the understanding of the findings and results directly emerging from the research process.
- To facilitate global learning on aid effectiveness and to facilitate more efficient implementation of the future programs to support the development agenda.
- To make specific recommendations to Chitral District Government for improving aid effectiveness.
Women Craft
- Women Craft is a Handicrafts Production & Marketing Support Project dedicated to empower the women in the rural areas The project aimed to create sustainable income generation opportunities for the poor, uneducated and unskilled women in the selected valleys. Its core objective is to create self- sustainable socio-economic development patron for the rural communities through exploring the human resource potential. Concept, aims and objectives
- Initially ten thousands poor / un-employed women shall be selected for a five year period from district Chitral, the most landlocked and backward mountain area.
- The selected women will undergo through intensive skill development and training process for the handicraft production.
- The project will provide financial and technical support to them in the handicraft production and marketing process.
- This project will make them self dependent in their livelihood and sustainable in their socio economic development.
Mountains Model Institute of Information & Communication Systems (MMIICS)
The designed institute can help the ultra rural community to get the basic education of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) . Initially we are collaborating with educational institutions to implement this initiative in remote valleys of Chitral District.
Building Chitral Traditional House in Islamabad
Chitral Development Council is working to construct Chitrali Traditional Home in Islamabad. Chitral Tradition house is a single hall as joint family living facility built mostly with mud and stones. (Read More )
